Agritourism is about to get real. There’s still time to prepare.
After a year of being confined to our homes with only the occasional guilty dinner in a dining pod or open-air restaurant, people around here are chomping at the bit to log some miles.
The pent up urge to travel might lead us to think that, once vaccines take hold, the global doors will swing open and everyone will race to their airports in unison.
Not so fast, say travel experts, who estimate it will take five years or more to get back to the 2019 levels for international travel.
Still, there's no question we're going to see a wanderlust rebound after a year that one airline executive called "9/11, SARS and the Great Recession all rolled into one."
